Pick It For Me Giveaway (2)

Pick a book, any book and take it please! My goal here is to actually read one book from my towering pile each month. That's a grand total of 12 books in a year and won't even make a small dent but I guess 12 is better than zero, right?
I grabbed these titles randomly from the nearest shelf. As you can see, some of them show a wee bit of shelf wear but hopefully there will be a little something for everyone. There's horror novel, a yaoi (haven't read one of those in far too long),  a couple romances and some other stuff. To find out more about any title just click on the cover below and it will bring you to the books Goodreads page. I'm going to use Rafflecopter to choose my winner and I will read (or at least make an attempt) whichever book the winner chooses. Just enter via Rafflecopter and leave a comment with your book choice along with your email. This giveaway is open to all but please pick only one title and enter only once. This giveaway will be open until the end of March and I will read, review and mail off the book to the winner in late April.

Ordinary Crush by Hyouta Fujiyama

Being normal is every high school student's dream. But in an all boys school where 90% of the students are gay, being abnormal is something Nanase strives for with a passion! With his heterosexual buddy Heiji, the only other straight guy in school, as an oasis, he finds himself dodging advances from the "normal" students in his class.

Undercover by Lauren Dane (#1 in Federation Chronicles)

A sexy debut exploring an erotic future universe of passion, danger, and deceit…

On the battleground or in the bedroom, one woman and two men fight for dominance in a bold, new, and excitingly different direction in erotica…

As a lieutenant of the Federation military, Sera Ayers is accustomed to giving orders, not taking them. Now she must obey the one man she can't stand-and can't stop thinking about.

With the enemy Imperialists gaining ground, a covert team is assembled by Ash Walker. Ten years before, Sera had lovingly submitted to Ash's dominance in the bedroom. But when he was forced into a political marriage, she refused to play mistress. His marriage now over, Ash wants Sera on his team-and back in his bed.

The third team member, Brandt Pela, has an elegance to match Ash's savage sexuality. And when their undercover plan requires Sera to pose as Brandt's lover, it ignites a passion among the three of them more dangerous than their mission

Rainbow High by Alex Sanchez

Jason Carrillo, the best-looking athlete in school, has had his eyes on the prize from day one: a scholarship for college.
But then his eyes turn to love -- and Kyle.
Kyle Meeks, swim team star and all-around good guy, is finally in the relationship he wanted. Being in love feels so good, in fact, that he can't imagine giving it up to go to Princeton.
Something he's worked for his entire life.
Nelson Glassman, outgoing and defiant, might be HIV positive. Jeremy, the boy he loves, is HIV positive. Although Nelson fears testing positive, if he is infected Jeremy might stop protecting him and pushing him away.
They can be together.
High shool's almost over. Graduation is ahead. Life's a bowl of cherries, right? Right...

Mermaid by Carolyn Turgeon

Princess Margrethe has been hidden away while her kingdom is at war. One gloomy, windswept morning, as she stands in a convent garden overlooking the icy sea, she witnesses a miracle: a glittering mermaid emerging from the waves, a nearly drowned man in her arms. By the time Margrethe reaches the shore, the mermaid has disappeared into the sea. As Margrethe nurses the handsome stranger back to health, she learns that not only is he a prince, he is also the son of her father's greatest rival. Sure that the mermaid brought this man to her for a reason, Margrethe devises a plan to bring peace to her kingdom.

Meanwhile, the mermaid princess Lenia longs to return to the human man she carried to safety. She is willing to trade her home, her voice, and even her health for legs and the chance to win his heart...

A surprising take on the classic tale, Mermaid is the story of two women with everything to lose. It will make you think twice about the fairy tale you heard as a child, keeping you in suspense until the very last page

Healing Luke by Beth Cornelison

Occupational therapist Abby Stanford is on vacation alone, haunted by sharp memories of her fiances betrayal, her self-confidence shattered. Romance is the last thing on Abby's mind - until she meets the brooding and enigmatic Luke...

Scarred by a horrific accident, former heartthrob Luke Morgan is certain his best days are behind him. Spunky and attractive, Abby knows how to help him recover, but Luke is sure his powerful attraction to her will only serve as a harsh reminder to him of the man he used to be.

Abby is Luke's first glimmer of hope since the accident, but can she heal his heart before Luke breaks hers?

The Drive-In: A Double Feature Omnibus by Joe R. Lansdale

(I didn't realize I owned this and it's still on my wishlist. How embarrassing, how like me!)

Imagine a jam-packed drive-in on a Saturday night. You're kicking back in your car with the popcorn and enjoying a good old-fashioned scary monster movie when, suddenly, the drive-in itself becomes the movie, with all its attendant thrills--and dangers.

Texas Splendor by Lorraine Heath

(one of my favorites authors from way back)

The saga of the Leigh family continues.... After spending five long, hellish years in a Texas penitentiary, Austin Leigh is free to return home, only to find his sweetheart is now married. Despondent and alone, Austin sets out to clear his name of the crime he didn't commit. En route to the state capitol, he meets a young girl and her dog, the survivors of a mysterious tragedy. Together, the young couple will find redemption, forgiveness, and a true love greater than either could have imagined

Come Out Tonight by Richard Laymon

(most famous for his boob obsessed characters)

When a young woman's boyfriend diappears, she heads out to search for him--straight into the path of a psychotic killer.

It looks like Miss September is a Richard Laymon fan! What about the rest of you? Anything calling your name?

  1. LOL she is so darn cute! I love how they "help" ;)

I'm not entering but that Lauren Dane one caught my eye. I think the purple again. I don't know why because it's not my favorite color but goes right to it every time.

Healing Luke too because well the title grabbed me and made me want to know why he was broken. I'm gonna add that to my shopping list after reading the blurb :)
