It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #10

Visit bookjourney to join this weekly meme hosted by Sheila.

I have not participated in this meme lately, though I love it so, because I have been terribly off track with my reading and little changed since I posted weeks ago.  June is typically a month of suckage finding me pulled in too many directions and this June was no exception.  I hope to put all that behind me and focus on my reading in the upcoming months.

What I Read Last Week

Last week on the blog:

I posted several reviews:
Dog Boy by Eva Hornung (a survivalist book heavily featuring doggies)
A bite sized review of Burnt Offerings by Laurell K. Hamilton (Anita Blake #7)
Books of Blood Vol 2 by Clive Barker (a classic in horror circles)
Zombie Candy by Frederick Lee Brooke (zany tale of revenge)
The Lunatic Cafe by Laurell K. Hamilton (Anita Blake #4)

I became accountable and joined Operation TBR Reduction because my obsession collection has reached epic levels of embarrassment.

I added my 2 hot summer picks to the Dirty Little Secret Meme.

Don't forget to pick a book to win during my Operation TBR Reduction Giveaway.  I'll be running this contest every month but July's choices close on June 30, 2012.

Please leave your link back so I can check out your Monday posts! And if you've read any of the books here give me a shout out!

  1. New Follower. Wicked as they come is on my TBR as well. Eternal Rider is great, I loved that book. :-)

    1. Thanks for stopping by Jenese. I'm about halfway through Wicked As They Come. So far it's been very inventive and fun. I can see it so clearly in my head and think it would make a fabulous movie! Eternal Rider is confusing me a little bit with all of the world building and character intros. I'm thinking I should've read her other series first.

  2. I'm so behind on my reading. I've only read Burnt Offerings but I loved it. I do want to read Wicked As They Come, so I'll be looking forward to reading your review.

    1. I'm always behind in these series books. The only reason I'm catching up on this one is because they've released them on audio and I can listen to them while I do tedious things.

    1. Thanks! This is my first by the author and she certainly knows how to write a strong character :)
